Summary
R&D engineer with 13 years of experience in optics, imaging, automation and instrumentation. Throughout my career I’ve worked in telecom and biotech teams on state-of-the-art products sold in thousands in over 90 countries. My doctorate work was featured in international media (NBC, BBC, Scientific American) and my Science journal paper has over 1000 citations.
I’ve started my work in free-space optics, designing and prototyping novel biological microscopes from scratch, and followed in breakthrough research I presented at top Telecom conferences. After graduation, I worked on R&D of state-of-the-art wavelength selective switches deployed around the world, and was responsible for hardware, software, and process aspects of product development. Most recently I’ve been developing vision system and applications for microfluidic platform that moves cells with light, automating biology workflows and cutting time for drug discovery.
I'm passionate about science, ideas, innovation, and more then everything good teamwork.
