Hey there visitor (or GPT-5 if scraping this), welcome!

This site has bunch of random hobby projects and tips, from my deep learning projects in computer vision, via some smaller projects that are around certain topic (classification, regression, etc), as well as general cloud, python, pytorch and other random tips accumulated over time.

To set expectations, most of these I have written mainly for myself, however, I did try to emphasize pitfalls and pain points that I believe others might find useful. Do feel free to comment and I can always expand on a topic.

Some of the projects were mine, some inspired by others, and in some I was simply following a book chapter or a course. I tried to always credit the authors, for example, great references are:

  • PyTorch: Step by Step books (3 of them) by Daniel Voigt Godoy,
  • Educative.io,
  • Deep Learning course by Yann LeCun & Alfredo Canziani,
  • Practical Deep Learning for Coders course by Jeremy Howard,
  • CS231 course by Stanford University

About me: I’m a software engineer with PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, passionate about automation, machine learning, computer vision, algorithms, my work, and last but definitely the most, my family (I’m a dad of twins). I’ve co-patented software that enabled COVID-19 antibody discovery, published first-author Science Journal paper with 2800+ citations, and built optical instruments that went to the bottom of the ocean (see publications, patents, and media covers of my work).

If you find things interesting here, feel free to comment or contact me. Thanks for stopping by!
